He has received Pro Finlandia medal from the President of Finland (2006), Kultainen Vaatepuu (Golden Hanger), Prize of Honour from the Finnish textile industry (2012), Elle Style Award Fashion Prize (2012), Savonlinna medal (2008) for the promotion of the famous summer opera town. He is a member of the Finnish Association of Designers Ornamo, the Finnish Watercolour Society and the French La Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
