“The Horizon of Dreams – The Way of Dreams show at Central Pori Church on 29 April 2026, and the great popularity it received, was a precious gift for my 50th anniversary year as an artist in 2026. The event is a milestone in my career. Nearly 500 people filled the church hall in my hometown. It was wonderful to bring my life’s work to Central Pori Church, whose Late Gothic character with Art Nouveau decorations gave the show unique depth and solemnity, together with the musicians of the Palmgren Conservatory of the City of Pori. The church was a surprising venue for the show, and this kind of church event was something entirely new.

Pori Fashion Week in April 2026 had invited me as its guest of honour. The gala show in the church was the culmination of the week. It was a bold decision to organise this event. Without my working partner, visualist Matti Vaskelainen, something like this could not have been arranged,” says Jukka Rintala.

Jukka Rintala: Master of Style and Line – Master of Elegance exhibition at Voipaala Art Centre in Valkeakoski, 6 June – 30 August 2026.

Fashion artist Jukka Rintala’s 50th anniversary year as an artist will be celebrated in the atmospheric manor house of Voipaala Art Centre. The extensive exhibition presents history, the present day and surprises. On the ground floor of the house, three rooms with different colour atmospheres feature magnificent unique gowns, paintings and industrial products. The colourful summer room, the romantic pastel room and the dramatic black-white-gold room offer strength and joy to visitors. A pop-up shop will also be included.

The Power of Style and Art – Power of Elegance exhibition, 6 June – 16 August 2026, Savonlinna

The artistic whole of the exhibition consists of Rintala’s new fashion works, paintings and textiles, which can be purchased from the gallery shop. During the exhibition, the harbour park in front of the gallery will feature an event pier for fashion shows and other programme. Savonlinna is dear and close to Jukka. Jukka and Matti Vaskelainen have been active in Savonlinna since 1989. Their work has received great appreciation and interest. In 2008, the City of Savonlinna awarded them the Savonlinna Medal for their distinguished work in promoting the city. The Jukka Rintala exhibition is also a highly regarded part of the Savonlinna summer.
